David Goffin who I selected to win the Second Quarter at Miami this week at 14/1 is through to the Quarter Finals and he will face 18th seed Gilles Simon. They have met once before on the ATP Tour at Queens last summer and Simon won in three sets. Today’s encounter is likely to be another close one given both players form this week and i would suggest at least covering your outright stake by backing Simon in the match market.
The three other Quarter Final match up’s at Miami are between top seed Novak Djokovic and seventh seed Tomas Berdych, 12th seed Milos Raonic and 24th seed Nick Kyrgios and sixth seed Kei Nishikori and 16th seed Gael Monfils. Djokovic looks nailed on to reach the semi-finals and he will play the winner of the Goffin and Simon match. Raonic leads the head-to-head 2-1 against Kyrgios and today’s match is sure to be close one. There is likely to be at least one tie break in the match judging by their three other meetings that all featured tie breaks and playing the Over Games market looks like a safe bet. Nishikori should also progress to the semi-finals against Monfils and he will play the winner of the Raonic and Kyrgios match.
