Another great result for the Blog’s Tennis advice this week when David Goffin won the Miami Masters Second Quarter at 14/1 on Wednesday. Goffin’s win follows a stream of decent priced winners so far this year, including Fritz at 66/1(losing finalist), Cuevas at 28/1 and 6/1, Wawrinka at 8/1, Cilic at 9/1 (losing finalist) and Raonic at 6/1 and 25/1 (losing finalist).
At the time of writing world number one and top seed Novak Djokovic was through to the semi-finals at Miami after he breezed past Tomas Berdych 6-3 6-3. He will now face David Goffin for a place in the final and a chance to win his third consecutive Miami title and record equalling sixth in total.
Kei Nishikori came through an enthralling three set encounter against Gael Monfils last night, finally seeing off the Frenchman after a third set tiebreak. Nishikori will face the winner of the Raonic and Kyrgios quarter-final, which was played in the early hours of this morning.
Don’t forget to tune in this Monday when we will be back in action for the start of the Clay court swing. There are two ATP 250 tournaments in Houston, Texas and Marrakech, Morocco to focus on and hopefully I will be able to unearth some more decent price winners for you.
