Two of England's Oldest Races at Carlisle

Today's Carlisle meeting stages two of the oldest races in England.

The Carlisle Bell and The Cumberland Plate

They used to be run on consecutive days but now help to make up an excellent days racing at the Cumbrian Track

Big fields as usual for both races

It might be worth following trainer Alan Swinbank who does well here.
