This week’s ATP tennis action at Atlanta is now down to the quarter-final stage and both my outright selections Donald Young (66/1) and Fernando Verdasco (12/1) are still in action. Young faces compatriot and wild card Reilly Opelka who is only 18 and ranked 837 in the world. The teenager has already caused a major upset this week knocking out third seed Anderson so Young will need to be at his best today if he wants a chance of reaching Sunday’s final tomorrow.

Verdasco has made light work of his opposition so far this week and is playing well enough to reach Sunday’s final. At the time of writing he will face either second seed Kyrgios or Wild Card Jared Donaldson in tonight’s quarter-finals.
