Moves resigns at Black Cats

After a disastrous year for the club and himself, John Moyes resigned as Sunderland's manager yesterday.

The fact that he left without being pushed does not say much about the newly relegated Sunderland team. The inevitability of losing Jermain Defoe was probably the last straw.
