This week's ATP Tennis action at Winston Salem will be down to the third-round stage by the time you read this article and at the time of writing three of my four outright selections; qualifier Edmunds (33/1), tenth seed Sugita (33/1) and 15th seed Medvedev (22/1) were still in action and due to play their second-round matches.

Sugita was due to play Wild Card American Fritz and will have hopefully extended his head-to-head record against him to 2-0, while Edmunds and Medvedev face each other for the first time so we are guaranteed to have at least one player in the third round.
