Bookies Bonanza on First Day At Punchestown Festival

Payback time yesterday for the bookmakers after Cheltenham and Aintree.

Yorkhill the first of Willie Mullins juggernauts was not sighted in the Champion Novice at 4/9.

Next, Vautour was unable to adapt to the shorter trip in the Champion 2 mile chase and was beaten by Gods Owen at 4/9.

Then to rub it in, Jenkins who had been backed from 5/4 to 8/11 in the Champion Bumper was caught on the post after being 4 lengths in front with a furlong to go.

Day two sees the Gold Cup with Cue Card well odds on following the defection of Don Cossack. He is another horse who has had a long season . Have £5 ew on Don Poli and Foxrock at big prices for a bit of fun.
