The home nation France confirmed their place in the semi-finals of Euro 2016 with an emphatic 5-2 win against England’s conquerors Iceland at the Stade de France last night. France controlled the game from start to finish and were superior in every department, especially in attack, where the likes of Giroud, Pogba, Payet and Griezmann all shone and scored.

The semi-finals will be played this Wednesday and Thursday between Portugal and Wales and Germany and France. Don’t forget to tune in on Wednesday when I’ll provide my thoughts on both games.
