Manchester City went two points clear at the top of the Premier League this weekend thanks to beating nearest rivals Manchester United 2-1 on Saturday lunchtime, and Chelsea drawing 2-2 against Swansea at the Liberty Stadium. Spurs went clear fourth on eight points thanks to a comprehensive 4-0 win against Stoke while Liverpool, Arsenal, Hull and Everton all ended the weekend on seven points.
Liverpool were far too strong for Leicester at Anfield thatching the Tigers 4-1 thanks to a brace from Firmino and a debut goal from new signing Mane. Arsenal left it to the death to pick up three points against Southampton thanks to a 94th minute penalty from Cazorla and Hull also left it to the death to scrape a point away to Burnley thanks to a 95th minute Snodgrass equalizer.
Elsewhere Bournemouth picked up their first win of the season at home to West Brom, as did Crystal Palace, who picked up an impressive win away at Boro, and Watford who emerged victorious from a six goal thriller 4-2 at West Ham.
