Major Cheltenham Messages From Weekend Racing

Un de Sceaux put down a marker for the Champion Chase by winning the Tingle Creek in game fashion at Sandown. He could form part of a double pronged attack with Douvan although the Ryanair is also a possibility.

Sunday's brilliant Bar One featured four group 1 races. Apples Jade made up for an unlucky run in the Fighting Fifth at Newcastle by ending Vroum Vroum Mag's unbeaten run in an exciting race. I would let her take her chance in the Champion Hurdle as she showed marked improvement in the Spring last year.
