The domestic football action gets underway tonight and we have a top half of the table Championship clash between ninth placed Norwich and fourth placed Huddersfield at Carrow Road. Norwich have found life difficult in the Championship since being relegated last season and there home form has just been good enough to keep them in the top half of the table and in touch with the play-off places.

They have won seven of their ten league home games this season, drawing two, and have the third best league home form so far this season. They’ve averaged 2 goals per game in the league and conceded on average less than a goal per game at home in the league this season.

Huddersfield have won four of their ten league away games this season, drawing two, and have the sixth best league away form so far this season. They’ve averaged less than a goal per game away in the league this season and conceded on average 1.5 goals per game.

Norwich lost none of the last ten competitive corresponding fixtures, winning seven and drawing three, and five of these games ended with more than 2 goals scored. From a betting perspective it looks like Norwich have the slight advantage based on the above statistics so backing them to win should return a profit and if you are looking for a better return backing or trading the 2-0 and 2-1 Correct Score lines should return a profit.
