Titanic Duels For Trainer Titles

We are in for a treat this month as Nicky Henderson and Paul Nicholls go head to head for the UK trainers title while across the waters Gordon Elliott tries to stave off Willie Mullin's to land his first Irish title.

Aintree is likely to prove the key for the UK race although Nicholls has clinched it with the Scottish Grand National in the past. He has a strong contingent in the handicaps at Aintree including the Grand National. Nicky Henderson has strong contenders in several of the Group 1 races and could increase his £112,000 lead.

The Irish title is certain to go to the wire at Punchestown - at present Elliott is 1to 3 favourite.
