Second placed Brighton will get the chance to regain top-spot in the Championship tonight against QPR at Loftus Road and if they can collect all three points they may find they stay top as leaders Newcastle face sixth place Sheffield Wednesday Saturday tea time, which will no doubt prove to be another tough test of their character under pressure.

The Premier League also continues on Saturday and leaders Chelsea’s title aspirations will be tested again with a tough trip to Dean Court against an in form Bournemouth, while second place Spurs will look to maintain the pressure on the leaders against Watford at White Hart Lane. At the bottom of the table Hull, who moved out of the relegation zone midweek after their 4-2 win against fellow relegation threatened Middlesbrough, will hope that Swansea fail to win at West Ham as the face the daunting task of trying to beat Manchester City at the Etihad.
