A frustrating weekend 2 players at 50/1 and 39/1 beaten by short heads so to speak!!!

Firstly in Austria David Horsey failed by one shot to overhaul Dean Frittelli the winner!!!

Our top European selection Joost Luiten was 3rd European so you get your money back and don’t forget G Bourdy was a non-runner!! So we lost 19pts.

In the USA at St Jude it was exciting stuff with our players all in the lead or 2nd at some stage, P Mickleson [9th] K Chappell [4TH],B Horschel [4th] R Cabrero Bello [4th] and C Schwartzel [2nd] losing by one shot to previous winner D Berger.

I hope most of you were more sensible than me and laid off for profit, I was convinced one of ours would succeed so didn’t!! We did collect on R Cabrero Bello top european at 13/2 and David Hearn was 3rd in top ROW at 30/1 we were also unlucky here as two of our players Jones and Goosen finished just out of the places at 14/1 and 25/1, so fortune was against us this time!! So we lost 7 pts at St Jude a total weekend loss of 26pts between the two events!! Still way ahead since we started 5 or so weeks ago.

This week is one of the main events of the golfing year the US Open, which starts Thursday, I will send selections out on wed morning.
