Everton and Arsenal were in action in the Europa League last night but they could not continue the good form of English clubs in Europe. Everton were thrashed 3-0 away at Italian side Atalanta and at the time of writing Arsenals were losing 1-0 at the Emirates against Bundesliga outfit FC Cologne. The English domestic action gets underway tonight with a Premier league fixture between Bournemouth and new boys Brighton and Brighton could cause an upset here as Bournemouth have lost all four of their league games so far while Brighton have drawn and won their last two and looked particularly impressive beating West Brom 3-1 at the weekend.

I would also consider opposing some of the teams that played in Europe midweek, especially Liverpool at home to Burnley on Saturday and on Sunday Everton away at Manchester United and Arsenal away to Chelsea as Everton and Arsenal played in Europe on Thursday and have less time to recover.
