The final ATP Event of 2017 the NITO Year End World Tour Finals in London, England get underway today and record six-time World Tour Finals winner, second seed and Boris Becker Group B and tournament favourite Roger Federer kicks the action off against eighth seed and last minute qualifier American Jack Sock this afternoon. Federer leads the head-to-head 3-0 and has never even lost a set against Sock so it looks like the Swiss master will get his tournament off to a winning start today.

The match of the day however, is between the other two Boris Becker Group B contenders, third seed and NITO ATP World Tour Finals debutant Alexander Zverev and fifth seed Marin Cilic, who returns to the World Tour Finals for the third time. This is the fifth time the two have met and Zverev leads the head-to-head 3-1 and while the young German has not been in the best of form of late I think he will bounce back to form today and this week and mount a serious challenge for the title.
