The Aussies justified favouritism for the opening ashes test at the Gabba, but it took them to the second innings to get on top when Englands inexperienced and shaky batting line up finally collapsed. If England don’t discover some steel at the top of their batting line up soon they are going to really struggle in the remaining four tests and the next test is when they need to step up and show it as if they fall 2-0 behind the Aussies will not let up and will want to continue to crush them and humiliate them at this is when a whitewash will be on the cards.
