There’s was plenty of goal mouth action and excitement in the Premier League last night and leaders Manchester City got back to winning ways with a comprehensive 3-1 win against Watford at the Etihad. Sterling continued his impressive scoring run this season netting the opener after only 39 seconds! The second came via an own goal and Aguero netted the third in the second half. It was a good night for the London based clubs Crystal Palace and West Ham who both came from behind to win their relegation battle encounters 2-1 against Southampton and West Brom respectively and it was good to see Hammers striker Andy Carroll get back to scoring and winning ways after enduring an injury ravaged career to date. Finally, Spurs who were without top-scorer Kane were too good for bottom of the league Swansea winning 2-0 and Llorente and Ali were the scorers for the visitors.
