It’s Over!'

Manchester City’s dream of making history by winning four competitions and making history came to an end last night when they were knocked out of the FA Cup 1-0 at Wigan.

A feisty but hugely exciting match saw City have 82 per cent possession but fail to penetrate the heroic Wigan defence. The match turned on a controversial refereeing decision when Fabian Delph received a straight red card.

Will Grigg became the leading scorer in the FA Cup when scoring a breakaway goal in the second half.

The turn of the Champions League tonight - back Barcelona to win at Stamford Bridge.

I have to admit that i thought that their failure to replace Jesus, when he sustained a long term injury, would be fatal. However that does not seem to be the case.

Champions League fare tonight.

Barca look like bankers to win at Stamford Bridge.
