Manchester City recorded their thirteenth straight win at the Etihad yesterday 1-0 against Chelsea and they now lead their nearest rivals in the Premier League Liverpool by a mammoth eighteen points. Arsenal’s losing run and woes continued yesterday as they were well beaten by Brighton at the Amex Stadium 2-1. Brighton were 2-0 up within half an hour and while the Gunners got one back just before half-time, they were unable to better that in the second half and the 2-1 win moved Brighton up to tenth seven points clear of the relegation zone.
