They are joined in the semi-finals by Marseille, who knocked out RB Leipzig 5-3 on aggregate and Salzburg, who recovered from a 4-2 first leg deficit at Lazio to win the second leg 4-1 sending them through 6-5 on aggregate. Finally, Atletico Madrid lost against Sporting 1-0 last night, but they progress to the semi-finals 2-1 on aggregate.
