Defending Champions League Real Madrid were given a real scare by Bayern Munich in their second-leg tie at the Santiago Bernabeu. The match was a four-goal thriller and Madrid had to come from behind after Bayern took the lead in the first half. Madrid fired back though with a brace from Bezeman. Bayern then equalized midway through the second half, but the Spanish giants managed to hold on for a nervy thirty minutes and will now get the chance to prove again they’re the best club side In Europe again and win back-to-back Champions League trophies.

The second Champions league second-leg tie takes place tonight between Roma and Liverpool at the Stadio Olimpico and the Red enter the match with a 5-2 advantage, which should be a big enough advantage to set up a final with Real Madrid. However, the Reds will still need to be at the top of their game as Roma proved against Barcelona they’re more than capable of mounting a comeback from a large deficit, and there two away goals could end up playing a significant role in the final result if they can stop Liverpool from scoring.
