Play-off favourites Fulham justified the bookies confidence in them with a 3-0 on aggregate win against Derby, who they beat last night 2-0 at Craven Cottage. Fulham will find out their play-off final opponent tonight when Aston Villa take a 1-0 lead in to their return leg against Middlesbrough at Villa Park, and the home side are the clear favourites and expected to progress. However, Boro can take heart from the fact the last time they were beaten at Villa Park was way back in March 2005 in the Premier League, since then in all competitions they’ve won four and drew three of the last seven encounters between 2005 and 2017.
