Football

A massive weekend of football ahead starting tomorrow with two of the most valuable games in world football, the Champions League final between reigning champions Real Madrid and Liverpool at the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kiev at 7.45pm, Ukraine and the Championship play-off final between Aston Villa and Fulham at Wembley that kicks-off at 5pm. There’s also the League One and Two play-off finals at Wembley between Rotherham and Shrewsbury on Sunday and Coventry and Exeter on Bank Holiday Monday.

Real Madrid are favourites to retain the Champions League trophy and will be very difficult to beat given their record in the competition, especially over the last two seasons, and with one of the world’s best players striker Ronaldo in their line-up. However, Liverpool have proved themselves as one of the best knockout teams in the competition this season and they have arguably the worlds best player this season, striker Mo Salah in their line-up. Whatever the outcome it’s sure to be an enthralling encounter between two of the best attacking teams in Europe and given Salah’s brilliant season and talent he’s sure to have a positive impact on the game at some stage.

Fulham are the favourites to win the Championship play-off final against Aston Villa and in the league this season both teams won their respective home matches against each other, 2-0 and 2-1 respectively. From a betting perspective I think Fulham have just enough talent to edge the game in normal time and backing them in the Correct Score Group Betting market to win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 is worth considering given their two encounters this season landed this bet, and Fulham won six of their last ten matches overall by one of these scores.
