This weeks ATP Tour grass court tournaments at Stuttgart and s-Hertogenbosch are now both underway and due to rain delays Stuttgart are still in the process of completing their first round matches but the organisers and fans were more fortunate at s-Hertogenbosch as all their first round matches are now complete. The main talking points so far have been about fifth seed and home hope Kohlschreiber at Stuttgart, who lost in the first round against the unseeded veteran Istomin from Uzbekistan and eighth seed Seppi crashing out against Wild Card Mackenzie from America at s-Hertogenbosch.

From a match betting there’s a couple of second round matches I like and that will hopefully return a profit like Monday’s winners Haase (9/8) and Istomin (16/5). At s-Hertogenbosch I think Medvedev (13/18) is worth siding with against fourth seed Verdasco as he beat him in straight sets in their only match at Montpellier indoors last year and the quicker conditions will suit his game better. At Stuttgart it could prove profitable to oppose the out of sorts second seed Pouille (2/9) against potential NextGen star German 17 year old Molleker, who received a Wild Card this week, and impressed beating compatriot Struff in the first round.
