World Cup

Chris Sobey

Hopefully the trend of entertaining and high quality last-16 knockout matches will continue today and there are another two matches to enjoy this afternoon and this evening. First up, Group E winners Brazil face Group F runners-up Mexico at 3pm on BBC One and I don’t hold out much hope for Mexico progressing to the quarter finals after the manner of their 3-0 loss against Sweden, which I think might have a negative knock on effect on their performance in this game. The other game is between Group G winners Belgium against Group H runners-up Japan at 7pm on ITV and if Belgium make sure they don’t underestimate Japan, who won four of the five previous international matches between the two nations, they should win this one comfortably.

Selections:

World Cup 2018

Belgium Win & Over 2.5 Goals (13/10)
