At Shenzhen top-seed Goffin faces a nightmare second round match against Murray who is still on the road of recovery from a lengthy injury lay off. Third seed Coric faces British number two Norrie and the result will help determine how far Norrie has come on this year. Finally, fourth seed Dzhumur faces a tricky tie against qualifier Ramanathan from India who adopts serve and volley tactics but Dzhumur is one of the best returns on tour so should prevail on this occasion.
