Manchester City picked up their first Champions League win of the season 2-1 at Hoffenheim but city rivals United couldn’t raise their game at home against Valencia only managing a 0-0 against Valencia. Italian giants Juventus and Roma both continued their impressive Champions League form beating Young boys 3-0 and Plzen 5-0 respectively. The biggest upset of last night was reigning champions Real Madrid losing 1-0 against ten man CSKA Moscow in Moscow. The second round of Group game action continues tonight and 2017 finalists Liverpool face tough away test against Napoli and Spurs face a potentially even tougher test at Wembley against Barcelona.
