Its quarter finals day at the ATP Shanghai Masters 1000 Series and by the time you read this article the action should be well underway. First up British number and eleventh seed Kyle Edmunds will attempt to reach his first Masters 1000 Series semi-finals but he faces a tough test in the shape of fourth seed who leads the head-to-head 3-0. Top-seed Federer also faces a potentially tough test against the in-form eighth seed Nishikori and Federer leads the head-to-head 5-2.

Second-seed Djokovic faces the big hitting seventh seed South African Anderson for the seventh seed for the seventh time and if the match goes the way of five of their previous encounters Djokovic should prevail again. The other match is between thirteenth seed Coric who faces the only unseeded player left in the draw veteran Ebden and this is will be there first meeting on the ATP Tour.
