It was a busy night of football last night both in Europe with the Champions League and on the domestic front with EFL Championship, League One and Two action. In the Champions League Ronaldo returned with his new club Juventus to taunt one of his old clubs Manchester United and managers Mourhino with a hard fought 1-0 at Old Trafford. United’s neighbours had far less resistance away at Shakhatar Donetsk winning 3-0. Holders Real Madrid were to good for minnows Plizen winning 2-1, and Bayern Munich Roma also had comfortable wins against away AEK 2-0 and 3-0 at home for CSKA Moscow.

The Champions League continues tonight and there’s some big clashes between PSV at home to Spurs, Barcelona at home against Italian giants Inter, PSG at home to Napoli and last years finalists Liverpool are at home against Crevana Zveezda.
