It’s quarter finals day at the Paris Masters 1000 Series and there’s a cracking line up of potential top class matches. Second seed Djokovic (advised 7/5) takes on fifth seed Cilic for the eighteenth time and the level Djokovic is playing at I expect him to extend the head-to-head record to 16-2 today. Fourth Seed Sascha Zverev faces fellow NextGen star Khachanov for the second time and the young German won their only previous encounter indoors at St Petersburg. Both players are in good form and I expect Zverev will edge this one. Finally, third seed Federer will face either seventh seed Anderson or tenth seed Nishikori and the winner could face Djokovic in tomorrow’s semi-finals.
