What a superb weekend of Autumn International Rugby and again England were heroic against the all-time best team in Rugby Union the All Blacks. The All Blacks rarely lose against England, but an upset looked on the cards when England raced to a shock 15-0 first half lead. However, the All Blacks, who are used to dominating games from the off, proved why they are still the best team in International Rugby by mounting a monumental comeback and minimised England’s lead to five points going in to half-time.
The second half was a total contrast in terms of scoring, the All Blacks came out with a clear game plan of smothering and slowing England down, which they managed to do under huge pressure. The All Blacks proved again why they are the greatest International Rugby Union side of all time by not allowing England to register a single second half point, they won the second half 6-0 to subject England to another devastating loss against their nemesis.
Elsewhere Wales recorded their second win of the campaign beating their nemeses Australia at the Millennium Stadium and Scotland bounced back from their lacklustre heavy defeat against Wales last weekend with an impressive, fluent and clinical attacking display against visitors Fiji winning 54-17.
