The hectic period of domestic football action continues this weekend with a full set of Premier League, EFL Championship and EFL League One and Two fixtures. The action kicks-off tonight with the regular live EFL Championship game and tonight’s is between ninth place Aston Villa and third place Sheffield United at Villa Park. From a betting perspective Over 2.5 Goals is worth considering as Villa’s last eight home games have produced Over 2.5 Goals as have the last three corresponding league fixtures between the two teams. If you’re searching for a better return you can consider backing BTTS & Over 3.5 Goals as six of Villa’s last ten home games would have landed this bet.
Moving on to Saturday and the Premier League action gets underway with the live lunchtime game between second from bottom Fulham and fifth place Manchester United at Craven Cottage, which should go the way of United. Liverpool against Bournemouth at Anfield is the big game from the 3pm kick-offs as a win for the Reds will restore their three point lead over rivals Manchester City who beat Everton 2-0 midweek. From the other 3pm kick-offs Watford and Southampton are worth siding with at home to beat Everton and Cardiff respectively. Finally, in the EFL Championship on Saturday Leeds, Blackburn and QPR all look like good value to pick up three points against Middlesbrough, Bristol City and Birmingham respectively.
