Manchester City restored their goal difference lead over Liverpool in the Premier League yesterday when they thrashed Chelsea 6-0 at the Etihad and striker Aguero’s hattrick ensured he stays in the hunt for the league’s top scorer award with Salah from Liverpool. Liverpool still have the advantage in terms of the title race as they have a game in hand over City. Spurs could have easily lost on Sunday at Wembley against Leicester City, but the visitors spawned too many guilt edged scoring opportunities and strikes from Min, Eriksen and Sanchez were enough for Spurs to collect all three points and keep in touch for the title race.
