This week’s ATP Tour tennis action at Rotterdam, New York and Buenos Aires is now well underway and the first rounds at each event will be completed today. At Rotterdam top seed Nishikori, fourth seed Raonic, ninth seed Basilashvili and tenth seed Shapovalov all won their respective first round matches but eighth seed Goffin’s disappointing form continued as he lost in the first round against veteran Monfils. At New York fifth seed Mannarino and eighth seed Sandgren both crashed out in the first round and at Buenos Aires sixth seed Jarry and seventh seed Lajovic were first round casualties.
