It’s quarter finals day at this week’s three ATP Tour tennis tournaments at Rotterdam, New York and Buenos Aires. At Rotterdam it’s been a bad week for most seeded players and second seed Khachanov, third seed Tsitsipas and fourth seed Raonic (advised 6/1) all crashed out in the first or second round. However, top-seed Nishikori is still in action and he will face either ninth seed Basilashvili or the unseeded Fucsovics for a place in tomorrow’s semi-finals. Also, in action today are fifth seed and Sofia winner Medvedev who plays Montpellier winner Tsonga, tenth seed Shapovalov who plays veteran Wawrinka and veteran Monfils plays Dzumhur.

Over in New York today’s quarter finals are between top-seed Isner and seventh seed Aussie Thompson, veteran Spaniard Garcia-Lopez plays American NextGen star Opelka, Italian Lorenzi faces Canadian qualifier Schnur and at the time of writing sixth seed Querrey was due to face Albot and second seed Tiafoe was due to face American Jung for a place in today’s quarter finals.

Finally, at Buenos Aires third seed Italian Cecchinato faces Spanish youngster Carballes Baena and Argentinian Pella faces Spanish NextGen star Munar for a place in tomorrow’s semi-finals. At the time of writing top seed Thiem or German NextGen star Marterer will face veteran Cuevas in today’s quarter finals. Fourth seed Schwartzman or Slovenia’s Bedene will face either Spanish veteran Ferrer or Spanish veteran Ramos-Vinolas in today’s quarter finals.
