Last night’s two Champions League first leg ties between Liverpool and Bayern Munich and Lyon and Barcelona were both cagey affairs and lacked excitement in terms of goals. Bayern and Barcelona will have a slight advantage going in to the return legs in a fortnight’s time and they will need to make home advantage count with the away goals rule adding extra pressure.

The UEFA Champions League Quarter Finals action continues tonight with two more matches. 2016 finalists Atletico Madrid face Italian giants and two time winners Juventus in Madrid and Atletico progressed from their only encounter in the competition back in 2014 by winning this leg 1-0 and drawing the away leg 0-0.

The other tie involves Premier League holders Manchester City who travel to Germany to face Shalke and if Pep Guardiola gets his tactics right the Citizen’s should win tonight. From a betting perspective you may want to consider backing Under 2.5 Goals for the Atletico game and Over 2.5 Goals for the Shalke game in a Double.
