At the time of writing on Monday evening the ATP Tour Indian Wells Masters 1000 Series was working its way through the remaining second and third round matches where there had already been a host of upsets with eight seeds dropping by the way side over the weekend. The highest profile of these were ninth seed Tsistsipas who seems to be struggling to reach the heights of last season or this year Australian Open and eleventh seed Coric failed to impress again losing his opener against 40-year old Karlovic.
There was better news for British fans as twenty second seed Kyle Edmunds sprung back to form after various injury niggles and is already through to the third round after dispatching Jarry from Chile in straight sets. The three big guns of top-seed Djokovic, second seed Nadal and fourth seed Federer were all still going at the time of writing and Djokovic and Federer comfortably made it through to the third round while Nadal was due to play in the night match Sunday.
