After a tough first leg five goal thriller in Schalke, Germany that ended 3-2 City really turned on the style in Manchester at the Etihad last night blasting their way to a 3-0 half-time lead with a brace from on fire top scorer Aguero, Sane and Sterling continued their impressive scoring runs bagging goals either side of half-time and Silva, Foden and Jesus made sure it was a rout adding a further three goals later in the second half.

The other Champions League game last night was a classic between Atletico Madrid who looked to have put one big foot in the next round, however you can never right off a team off with Ronaldo leading the attack and he proceeded to produce one of the greatest personal performances to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat with an inspired hattrick which sent Juventus through 3-2 on aggregate.

The tops turvy top nature of the EFL Championship title race continued last night as Leeds once again relegated Norwich to second place but the slight advantage still sits with the Canaries who have a game in hand.

There’s two more second leg blockbuster gamesin the Champions League tonight with Barcelona facing Lyon at the Nou Camp after a 0-0 first leg and the cash of the night between German superstars Bayern Munich and European greats Liverpool in Germany at the Allianz Arena.is also finally balanced aft the first leg.
