It’s another busy weekend of domestic league football and there’s of course the quarter finals of the FA Cup taking place tomorrow and Sunday. There’s only a fee Premier League games due to five Premier League clubs in FA action. From these three games I think there’ll be goals in the Bournemouth game and from a betting perspective backing BTTT & Over 2.5 Goal Match Double is worth considering.
I also think West Ham will add further misery and stress on Huddersfield at the London Stadium and from a betting perspective you may want to consider backing West Ham & Over 2.5 Goals and/or West Ham -1 on the Handicap.
Down in the Championship leaders Norwich and second place Leeds are both in action and on paper Norwich have the upper-hand as they face relegation threatened Rotherham away and Leeds are at home against third placed Sheffield United who could overtake Leeds is, they win tomorrow.
From a betting perspective in the Rotherham and Norwich game I think Rotherham’s defenders will be under a lot of pressure and thus committing a lot of fouls so backing Richard Woods is worth considering for Rotherham and/or if you’re looking for a better return you could consider backing BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals.
Champions in-form teams who should improve their league positions further after the weekend are Brentford who should continue their dominant home form at home against West Brom and Preston are in red hot form and should prove too good for a struggling Birmingham at Deepdale.
From Saturday’s FA Cup games, the London Derby between Watford and Crystal Palace should be a close one and I’m tempted to side with the Hornets with home advantage and from a betting perspective Over 2.5 Goals should go close and/or if you’re looking for a higher return backing Watford & Over 2.5 Goals Match Double. Manchester City should progress without too much drama away at Swansea while Manchester United will need to be at the top of their game if they’re going to win at Molineux who are upset specialists.
