At the time of writing the ATP Tour Masters 1000 Series in Miami was approaching the end of the fourth round and the big stories so far have been top-seed Djokovic was still on course to win as record seventh Miami title seventh seed Isner is still on track to win back-to-back Masters 1000 Series titles and is involved in a potential classic match-up against the resurgent nineteenth seed and British number one Kyle Edmunds. Who knocked out twelfth seed Raonic in the third round 6-4 6-4 in impressive fashion.
Nineteenth seed Garibashvili continued his good form reaching the fourth round beating experienced professionals both in straight sets. The third-round match between Kyrgios and Lajovic would have been a big hitting aggressive encounter and it will be interesting to see if Lajovic can record b ack-to-back big wins after easily beating fifth seed Nishikori in his first game.
Sixth seed Anderson will be desperate to get more competitive match games under his belt and should get a good work our against Portugal number one Sousa. Thirteenth seed Medvedev (80/1) got off to a strong start winning his opener against experienced French pro Mannarino 6-2 6-1 but could have faced a tougher test against American NextGen potential star Opelika who is on a hot run of form having the confidence of winning four match already including qualifiers.
Fourth seed Federer struggled in his opener against veteran Albot having to come from as set down to win a physically tough encounter and he could face another physically gruelling match again and an upset would not be surprise. Eighth seed Tsitsipas (advised 40/1) got off to a winning start and will hopefully repeat that form next up experienced veteran Mayer.
