A good start for the home nations in the first rounds of Euro 2020 qualification as England and Northern Ireland both won their opening Group A and Group C games respectively and they both top their groups as a result. Wales won their only game in Group and Ireland started strongly winning both their games and they top Group D ahead of Switzerland. France, Spain, Italy and Belgium all started strongly as well winning both their Group games and they all top their Groups as a result.
