Domestic Premier League and EFL League football action returns this weekend after the International break and the majority of the top manager will be hoping their star players returned to their respective clubs injury free. First-up we are treated to a real cracker, a midlands derby between fourth place promotion pushing West Brom and Birmingham who are languishing towards the bottom end of the table in eighteenth.

These games are usually highly charged affairs given the club rivalries that feature plenty of controversy, cards and from a neutral point of views goals. So from a betting perspective you can consider backing BTTS & O3.5 match double or if you’re in search of better returns for you hard earned cash both Craig Dawson and Jacke Livermore have amounted fifteen bookings between them so you may want to consider backing one of them to be carded in the game or for Birmingham Kieftenbeld Maikel and Gary Gardener have amounted eighteen bookings between them and are worth considering backing to be booked again

Moving on to Saturday and the action kicks-off early in the Premier League as usual with the lunch-time kick-off as second from bottom Fulham face the daunting task of trying to bear second place City at Craven Cottage, Stranger things have happened, and I don’t expect it will be all plain sailing for the Citizens. Fulham have won just one of the last fourteen home games against City the last coming way back in 2005 and City have failed a bit better winning six, including four of the last five. The last ten corresponding games have featured goals as well. BTTS scored in all ten games so you way want to consider backing that or if you’re confident City are going to continue winning why not consider BTTS AND O3.5 Goals match double.

There’s a big derby and relegation six pointer in the 3pm’s in the Premier League as fifth from bottom Brighton face fourth from bottom Southampton and this is likely to be a feisty, high charged atmospher that will keep the officials occupied. The visitors have the upper hand in this corresponding fixture winning four of the last seven and as Brighton only scored once in these seven games I think its worth considering taking on Brighton o the handicap or exchanges or if you’re in search of a higher return Southampton and O2.5 Goals.

Relegation threatened Burnley are also in the tick of the hunt for more points but I’m not sure they will find many against such a strong, technically gifted counter attacking sides like seventh place Wolves who are only point behind Chelsea. Burnley are only two point ahead of third from bottom Cardiff who don’t play until tomorrow so this is a big chance for the Clarets and Blues to pile some early pressure on the Bluebirds by extending their lead over them. Burnley have struggled to defend and contain teams at the back this seson , they’ve been fifring on more goals of late and with such a potent attacking force like Wolves visiting we could be in for a high scoring game so backing BTTS & O2.5 Goals is worth considering or if you’re in search of a better price the Wolves & O2.5 match double is worth considering.

Rock bottom Huddersfield face a tough trip to London to face fourteenth place Palace and the Hatters will do well to leave London with a point given Palace’s form the second half of this season.

The other two 3pm kick offs are a mid-table clash between Leicester and Bournemouth at the King Power and I think the Tigers will nick this one while fifth place Manchester United face a tricky home tie against high flyers eighth place Watford and the Reds will need to be at their sharpest defensively if they don’t want to be embarrassed in front of their home fans.
