Ruby Walsh Retires

Ruby Walsh stunned the racing world yesterday evening when he announced his retirement immediately after winning the Punchestown Gold Cup on Kemboy after an epic battle with Alboum Photo.

Well done Ruby, going out at the top. In my eyes he was one of the greatest jockeys ever, on a par with Richard Dunwoody, Paul Carberry and John Francome

He will now pursue a media career.
