Congratulations to Sunderland who reached the League One play off final after holding Portsmouth to a 0-0 draw at Fratton Park last night and progressed 1-0 on aggregate. Tonight, it’s the turn of Charlton and Doncaster who play the second leg tie at Charlton’s home the Valley.

Charlton hold a 2-1 advantage from the first leg tie in Doncaster and many will fancy the Londoners to progress to the play off final having won twenty one of their 23 league home games this season only losing twice. Doncaster have lost more than they have won away from home in the league this season winning seven and losing ten, they lost at the Valley in the League 2-0 this season, so the omens don’t look good for Yorkshire team.

However, the last couple of weeks have produced some of the greatest moments in football history at the highest level especially Liverpool and Spurs and there unbelievable comebacks from seemingly lost positions in the Champions League, also Derby’s amazing comeback from 2-0 down to beat Leeds 4-2 at Elland Road and with that in mind I wouldn’t right off Doncaster’s chances of making the play off finals even though the odds are stacked against the,
