Two televised events this week the Jack Nicholas hosted Memorial tournament and a quirky event in Europe the Belgium knockout.

The Belgium knockout is unique in that the first two days normal stroke play whereby the top 64 on Saturday play match play knockout over 9 holes, so the winner will play 6 rounds of 9 holes over the weekend no mean fete!!!

Last year A Otaegui won but he’s not in the same form this year. It’s not a strong line up with Thomas Pieters hosting and playing is the favourite .

In the US Jack Nicholas hosts the memorial from Ohio, he’s attracted a great field including Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, Justin Rose, Rickie Fowler and Jason Day!!! McIlroy is the favourite and has great chance as in good form but Tiger Woods has just hosted a big charity event last weekend, Justin Thomas making comeback after wrist problems and Rose just not in form , so although I have been out of form myself it is set up for an outsider to prevail come Sunday.
