Hosts Brazil are the first team through to the semi-finals of the COPA America, but they were far from impressive failing to beat 10-man Paraguay in normal and extra-time which ended 0-0 and Brazil just scraped through on a penalty shoot-out. Argentina will try and join them tonight against Venezuela but don’t judging by Argentina’s performances so far this tournament I would not be surprised if there was an upset tonight.

There’s also another quarter final match in the early hours of Saturday morning between Columbia and Chile which should be a highly competitive encounter between two in form teams.

Finally, England are one step closer to reaching their first World Cup final after their impressive 3-0 win against Norway last night and they will face the winner of the French vs. USA match which takes place tonight.
