The PGA tour is over for the season but the new season starts in a couple of weeks. The European tour moves on to Switzerland and the Omega Masters at Crans sur Sierre and an excellent field has been assembled. FedEx Champion Rory McIlroy has committed to play and as such he is a very short priced favorite around 7/2 and he does have course form. He is clearly the best player in the field and on last weeks form would win this easily, but he has had a transatlantic trek and has no doubt had a celebration of his $15 million win. For that reason he is probably one to take on at the price, but once again we can exercise a little caution as we don’t need to play four or five selections every event. Course winners taking part include Matthew Fitzpatrick who has won the last two years, Alex Noren and Thomas Bjorn also dual winners and Danny Willett and Richie Ramsay.
